Charlie Pierce had a post about continued water contamination in WV that had the line "The Invisible Hand of market forces is still screwing with the people in West Virginia."
And I love the Tom Tomorrow "This Modern World" Invisible Hand character, whom the other characters always observe to be visible.
There are a few books and articles about the evolution of the mythology of the invisible hand: I'll probably add them to the site in the near future.
Any other good riffs on the invisible hand that you folks would like to mention?
